On July 20, 2023, led by the Employer Wuxue Guanggong Construction Co., Ltd. and witnessed by relevant units, the project passed the acceptance inspection smoothly.

This project is one of the key municipal projects in Wuxue City, which aims to rectify the black and odorous water bodies in the city, establish an urban rainwater and sewage diversion system, The trunk main sewer pipeline length was 27.92 kilometers, secondary/tertiary sewer pipeline was 55.63km(with a diameter range of 110 to 400 mm), total length of sewer networks involving gravity and pressurized pipelines was 83.55 km. The final contract amount is CNY478, 807,738.91 (equivalent to USD 66,501,074.85 Only)

The project started on October 10, 2019. HICC as the Contractor carried out ESHS standard management and substantially implemented PA-ESMP comprehensive management in the project area within the contract area.

HICC has done survey & investigation works, implemented the project such as source control and sewage interception, sewage pump station construction, dredging of ditches and canals, ecological water replenishment, ecological restoration, and full line connection of main sewage interception pipelines, which have significantly improved the image of dirty, chaotic, and smelly original harbor roads in Wuxue urban area, significantly improved water quality, and basically eliminated black and odorous phenomena.
